We are still hearing of employees who are being harassed by management in the the west coast areas. The TM in Sacramento has talked to some drivers about their "Union Yes" signs in their personnel cars. If you are going to do this, be prepared to be confronted by management. Don't argue with them, just say "I don't like were the company is heading and that you have every right to do this and if they insist on harassing you about your sign or opinions you will go to the NRLB.Your better off letting management know were you stand. And can be better protected by labor laws.
In OC, the night supervisor is doing about the same thing but using other employees to do his dirty work. To those employees who kiss up to him just a word of advise. Even though you are an employee, you can also be reported to the NRLB for spying,reporting on any Union activities or people who are interested in learning about the Union.Even if management has no idea you are doing these things!

Now we have learned that an anonymous employee overheard management saying they were very uptight. And now Union Yes employees think they will be targets of management. This is said to be done to look as if they are writing employees up for ticky tack regular job malfunctions, but in reality it is to try and intimidate employees who support the Union, and ultimately no doubt to terminate employees from their repective jobs. Fedex management is acting much like a cut throat organization operating with lies and trying to deceive and intimidate employees into not wanting the Union, but there is a big news flash. Employees are signing the petitions and employees are reading the blog on what management is doing, and employees are organizing a Union which means a better place to work. Fedex No more lies please.....
A Union Yes employee incured some nasty words from a PM supervisor and then was sent to a equally nasty trailer last night. This is the usual from Fedex management.

I am a full timer on the WHT dock and I feel like I am being harrassed for supporting the Union. I am pulled aside by supervision unnecessarily because they know I go to the Union meeting and have supported the Union efforts outside of work. I rarely talk about the Union at work but supervisors follow me down to the breakroom when I take my lunch and act like they are watching TV when I see they are staring at me trying to scare me. I have even been followed into the bathrooms also. I hope a Union comes in soon to stop these people from scaring me and making life harder than it has to be.

An anti Union meeting was held on the dillards crew at WHT. In the meeting OM Johnny Leyva told employees," Don't sign those petitions floating around. Don't believe everything you see and hear."
If we can't believe what we see and now the "rumors" have come true. It seems like the Teamsters are telling the truth and Fedex Freight management is just lying to us now. We are all smart and we know what is really going on.
It is good to see that even supervisors at WHT know what is going on is not right.

Hmmmm! FedEX Management suggests writing a letter if you don't like the way things are going in the company. You go out and get a letter written, then they have meetings where they tell you not so sign the letter. Interesting how that works!
It really seems to me as if Fred Smith's hate for the working family has driven these managers into believing all of Fred's lies and hate for the working people. Fedex needs a Union to show these managers how to treat people respectfully not some sugar coated act which they act like now. Their fake smiles show through and the hate that is shown by Fred Smith is now hurting our company which has done so well in the past. When we were caliber we tried to go nationwide and it fell through. Then the hourly employees kept on with this company digging it out of the rut it was in to make it very very profitable which it remains today and now Fred wants to cut our benefits. That is very disrespectful of him to try to do this and this is why we need the Union now. I am ready to sign the card with the other brothers on this website. Keep the dirty side down....... Managers keep trying to do some Union busting with sly comments but Fedex really has nothing going for them while us workers on the other hand have nothing to lose and everything to gain from joining the Union. Better medical, job security, more pay per hour 21.95 for us dock workers. Fedex on the other hand says be a driver if you want to keep your benefits. No respect for us from Fedex management on leaving work Friday they make me wonder if I have a job come Monday. All the rumors are coming true. The Union telling the truth and Fedex is doing nothing but lying. There is no doubt about it the Teamsters have won this battle all the way. The Union is better in every part of this argument and Fedex is looking like a really weak place to work. We need to make it better we need to go Union.

What third party? We really ought to do away with using this term; it's a misnomer.
The Teamsters at Fedex would be us--us organized as a group. And we have always been there as the second party. The only thing that would be governing us is that contract, not some third party. And that contract would govern both parties.
Perhaps at this stage, the Teamsters could be seen as a third party that is whelping us to become two EQUAL parties.
I was shocked I came into work yesterday and I didn't get harassed must be because all of the managers were at WHT harassing employees
