Bread crumbs to the employees of fedex corp....

Bread crumbs to a true blue FedEx employee, but royal bread for the scab Purchase Transportation driver who has no shame in stealing your JOB... Why does our wonderful and Gracious Corporate always offer dock work to us loyal workers? or to move local shameless bread crumbs runs? Why not offer the dock work to the scabs sitting on their fat asses, always watching TV in our yard doing nothing but waiting to scab your work.
Fred smith you said at the shareholder meeting how could I offer work to our employees when we have little work to offer!! Fred really are you serious ? Shouldn't the little work be offer to your true loyal workers first? And then offer the overflow work to the SCABS?

PS to all, you could send this to fsmith@FedEx.com

Brothers and sisters, let me say that line haul is not the only one being push out by the scavengers of purchase transportation, our local drivers here in Mira loma are given bread crumbs too. We have 24 local P & D drivers who bid on the rail bids, to run to San Bernardino rail yard and also to Los Angeles rail yard. Now our drivers here in Mira Loma run to San Bernardino and come back to yard and they are told that there no more runs to the rail yards, to hit the dock to make their hours. And the drivers witness right in front of thier eyes of Purchase Transportation being dispatch to the rails in San Bernardino and then told when they come back from SBR rails that they will go Los Angeles to pick rail trailers. Our drivers address to CLC dispatch( Amber) why they are being cut off, her response is that is not her making decision but from higher ends...

Since its founding in 1977, FedEx has worked to keep its name closely associated with outstanding customer experiences and employee retention. It says the secret behind that success is the dedication of its employees. HUM! As I read this article.

FedEx's philosophy is simple: people come first. Whether it's through direct contact with customers or its own hiring practices, the company's objective is to make sure that people are the main priority, including their own employees.

NOT TRUE…BY ANY STRETCH AS I CONTINUE TO READ THIS ARTICLE AND CHECK MY BANK ACCOUNT! NOT MUCH IN IT! WHY...I WORK FOR FEDEX! MY PAY HAS BEEN STRIPPED TO LESS THAN HALF OF WHAT I MADE FOUR AND A HALF YEARS AGO AS A CITY DRIVER FOR WATKINS.

FedEx is a good company to work for, because of its methods of recruiting and engaging employees. The company also has a number of measures to ensure thorough training so employees can meet the challenges ahead.

NOW, THAT IS ALSO NOT TRUE AS FEDEX IS NOT ENGAGING AT ALL WITH THEIR EMPLOYEES. IF YOU CALL A CORRECTIVE ACTION FOR WRITING A, ONE NUMBER MONTH DATE AS 1/10/11 INSTEAD OF FEDEX POLICY AS 01/10/11 ENGAGING THEN…YES FEDEX IS MADLY ENGAGING WITH THEIR EMPLOYEES. JUST ASK MARK LINK AND BOB TILLET AT MRL.THEY KEEP POCKET FULLS OF CORRECTIVE ACTIONS. IF ONLY I COULD WRITE ONE FOR EACH OF THEM! THE CORRECTIVE ACTIONS EACH WOULD SIMPLY STATE ON IT, 'SUCKS'!

Becoming a manager at FedEx is not simply about being appointed by the current crop of leaders. Employees are encouraged to nominate people for higher office This establishes a sense of equality within the organization; everybody has the opportunity to develop further if they feel they are up to the task. Leaders in FedEx will then check to ensure these employees have met the requisite criteria - a record of good performance appraisals, a length of experience within FedEx and a demonstrated track record of excellent service.

THAT PARAGRAPH BOILS DOWN TO THREE ONE HOUR CONFERENCE CALLS WITH A BUNCH OF SELF APPOINTED DUNDER BRAINS, WHO HAVE NO IDEA IN REGARD TO HOW TO RUN A TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT. ESPECIALLY THE FREIGHT DIVISION. BUT, ON THE UPSIDE…THEY AT LEAST HAVE ALL APOINTED THEMSELVES.

At FedEx, we believe that being a good employer is not a black and white thing. It's about creating a culture and setting up systems to endure integrity

WELL, IF THAT IS TRUE…THEN WHY ARE SO MANY EMPLOYEES FROM ALL OVER THE UNITED STATES SO UPSET WITH HOW FEDEX HAS BEEN DEMONSTRABLY IN A HORRIBLE WAY, RUNNING THE FREIGHT DIVISION FOR THE PAST THREE YEARS. IN FACT, SINCE THEY MOVED THEIR HEADQUARTERS TO HARRISON ARKANSAS. THE CITY AND THE STATE THAT SUPPORTS…

The Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, led by Thom Robb of Harrison, Arkansas, is the largest faction operating today, in the United States. GOOGLE IT!

PLEASE READ THIS LINK…A SPECIAL ON P.B.S., ABOUT HARRISON ARKANSAS. FEDEX MAIN OFFICE BUILDING, STILL OPERATING TODAY IS LESS THAN THREE MILES FROM DEX FREIGHT CORPORATE.

http://www.pbs.org/independentlens/banished/harrison.html

THE POPULATION OF HARRISON ARKANSAS.

As of the census of 2000, there were 12,152 people, 5,259 households, and 3,260 families residing in the city.

HOW MANY DO YOU THINK WORK IN CORPORATE?

However, with the normal conversation with the drivers in the past three years. Most of us have come to the same consensus that every since the corporate headquarters has moved to Harrison, Arkansas a number of our problems began and have escalated to the point that we are all asking and seeking the TEAMSTERS UNION help in our matters. As all of our leadership, management and policy concerns have all landed on deaf ears. IN HARRISON ARKANSAS, ESPECIALLY WHEN THE PROBLEMS ARE IN REGARD TO RACIAL MATTERS AND ISSUES.

We are all tired and fed up with this and really have prepared ourselves to fight for our rights…not to be rich with money, but to just be treated fair and equal.

HERE ARE THREE EMPLOYEE RESPONSES FROM THE INTERNET IN REGARD TO MY OPEN LETTE TO ALL FEDEX FREIGHT DRIVERS.

THE QUESTION IS: IF FEDEX WAS TRULY TRUTHFUL ABOUT WHAT THEY DISTRIBUTE TO THE PUBLIC AND TO US, THEIR EMPLOYEES THEN WHY CAN YOU FIND THIS INFORMATION ALL OVER THE NET!

EMPLOYEE RESPONSES: WITH MISTAKES FROM THE WRITERS AS THEY WERE FOUND: READ THEIR COMMENTS.

COMMENT 1.
No they don’t. They treat management good, but if you are behind the wheel, risking your life(people are maniacs behind the wheel)and health(people don’t think they need to shovel or salt walkways)FedEx could careless about you. You have to be in management or above to be treated good.I was with FedEx for 3 yrs as a package handler (was passed by for shift manager for a dope smoking foreigner) then 5 yrs as a driver. Was given a plaque, and a purple ribbon for going beyond my duties too. So its not like I was bad at my job.

COMMENT 2.
I worked at FedEx for almost 4 years-I left in July 2002. The pay was good and the benefits were good, but I hated going to work everyday. It was the management team I had at the time that ruined it because they really didn't have any idea what they were doing and had no idea how to manage people. Most of the benefits listed in this story were really non existent at my station because of this. No exaggeration-I worked 55-60 hours a week-every week-like it or not, no ability to get time off if needed, constantly being shifted from route to route because they didn't have enough couriers each day-they would run people off faster than they could hire and train them. We had a steady stream of outside management coming through our station trying to figure out what was going on. It was a shame, I liked the actual work I did, being outside everyday, being on the go, the challenges. My point is, it can go either way. It's all about the people you work for and work with.

COMMENT 3.
There is no such thing as flexible hours or changing shifts it goes by sonority and in my case and many others we were forced to change shifts against our will and if you did not then you were placed on 90 day leave or voluntary resignation.

FedEx has frequently made Fortune's 100 Best Companies to Work because the people who work and review FedEx are hand picked not all the employees are allowed to vote and I am sure if they were they would not make the list.

FedEx does not ask for resumes that’s a complete lie they have you fill out on FedEx computers a resume this separates the crap that people put on resumes and puts exactly what needs to be on a resume on a resume.

I can go on and on and but its a waste of my time. I can quit or go somewhere else this is what the management is saying today to employees. But why ruin and throw away 11 years and all that pension and hard work you did to make this company money. I’m FED UP.

This is bull crap how much did you get paid to write this crap for FedEx,
that is nothing but lies and deception of a company trying to shine in dark times. You should be ashamed of yourself review company policy if they let you. It will prove I am right and you probably got paid more then I make in a year to make FedEx look good while the FAA Reauthorization act is going to up to vote in the very near future. Give me a break and you went to school to write these lies with no real evidence or the other side of the story good job on this crap you wrote. I will print this article and let my dog use it for a puppy pad that’s all it is worth.
