A Comment From An Anonymous Blogger Worthy of Posting

Things have gotten so bad for us workers at FedEx. Now they want dockworkers to become drivers. If you fail the driver program you cannot retake it. Say bye bye to your benefits. A Union can and will stop that from happening to the full timers benefits. By Thanksgiving I guarantee these full time dockworkers will then be part time. This is due to the greed from the almighty FedEx machine. These service center managers, om's and supervisors: instead of them attending anti Union seminars and trying to divide the workplace maybe they should be defending the people who work so hard under them. They say a Union buster term that we are at "war" with them. So what are the managers going to do shoot us or what??? That is ridiculous we just want to better our work conditions and help make FedEx number one in the workplace too. They have continually treated us disrespectfully treating us like second rate workers so lets keep fighting and bring this Union in now before it is too late. Don't be scared of these tyrants trying to destroy your family just go Teamster.

The Union is NOT something we bring in! We are organizing to become united as one large body of workers with the power to bargain for our working conditions. In short, WE ARE the union, and we are already here.

The Teamsters will negotiate and enforce a contract, but they can NOT do this for us. This notion that we can call in the Teamsters to protect us is ludicrous. WE have to stand up for ourselves and do our part!

We need to stop waiting for the Teamsters to do our work, because it's not going to happen. The Teamsters need numbers. Pick out twenty or so people and ask them if they would vote yes, no, or on the fence for union representation, then get those numbers to your Teamster local.

The meetings are fun, and I like the Teamsters I've met at them so far. But let's be real, they can only go so far. People should be volunteering their time to organize-take on the responsibility.

I've said it time and time again, I stand behind you brothers and sisters. My job is on the line, and I have no fears about that whatsoever, because I know you've got my back. The Teamsters know we need their help, and they're ready and willing to help us all they can.

So lets stand up like the men and women we are and NOT TAKE THIS CRAP!

This is a great ending to a great post! We need more people like this poster!

I think you're right. I see how they're going to do this. Full-time is 32 working hours per week. They work people below that number and then inform them that they are part-time people.

The moment your hours are cut, then you need to realize that you're on your way to losing your medical, dental, vacation accrual, etc. These supervisors' goal is to get rid of all full-time people or as much as possible until they can figure out a way to complete the shift in a small range of time, a time in which it is impossible for anybody to work over 32 hours a week.

So what's my point? My point is that very soon, there will be a mass exodus of good people, and we will have to start organizing all over again from scratch. People have to make a living, and they will not be doing it at a part-time job. Families need medical; people will go where they can get medical. So let's not waste any more time being innactive on this issue.
ORGANIZE, ORGANIZE, ORGANIZE!

Those OM's and other supervisor types are trying to save their jobs.they are running scared.
pressure from the top and reaction from us on the bottom has them up tight.
Let's get this union thing going!
I'm tired of talking.Pretty soon we will not have anyone left to organize.

When a supervisor says that this organizing is a "WAR". They are not saying a "WAR against" the union. The "WAR" is against you FedEx employee. The people who makes this company! The people who make the money for the company! The people who are getting their jobs changed! The people who are going to lose money and benefits!
Looks like the "WAR" has started my friends. So are you going to quit or STAND UP and do the right thing
