good turnout yesterday thanks for being counted and we know these next few months will be hard on everyone so hang tight and just be ready to move fast when it happens. as for the last comet about older drivers working the docks more often, he or she is right on track injuries happen everyday across the region and pushing employees over 45 into this mix just to cut hours away from dock workers will only add to this because older worker are not in their prime anymore. im sure fedex has a plan for everyone and this just adds to the logic that older workers are being pushed out because they have no voice or choice here and some will lose there jobs. senior dock workers losing hours could turn into part time status losing benefits, while senior drivers forced to work the dock could quit or be fired for errors on those shifts and we all know by now NEW HIRES are all part time with NO BENEFITS. get the big picture everyone, No Contract No Guarranteed Benefits and no reason to work here other than part time. If we ever needed the Union here in fedex, THE TIME IS NOW

PLEASE PASS OUT FLYERS THIS WEEK AT NATIONAL AND GROUND AND FREIGHT AND EXPRESS WERE ALL IN THIS SWAMP TOGETHER. WE ALSO HAVE HEARD ABOUT OAK HARBOR GOING ON STRIKE AND WE ARE ALL BETTING THE RANK AND FILE ( THE OAK HARBOR TEAMSTERS UNION ) AND THEIR EMPLOYEES WILL WIN THIS THING AND MORE OF THERE DIVISIONS HERE IN CALIF, NEVEDA, AND EAST WILL FORM A UNION SOON. WATKINS WAS A GREAT COMPANY JUST LIKE VIKING WAS BEFORE FEDEX TOOK OVER NOW WERE JUST A COMPANY WITH GREDDY CEO'S AND POOR MANAGERS THAT CARE MORE ABOUT THEIR POCKETS THAN OURS. TEAMSTERS PLEASE HELP UP.

It was great to see the Union come to Raging Waters. I am tired of management abuse giving me crap cause I support the Union. Hopefully the Union will come every week out at the gate. I thought Andy Lessin and Russ Fleck were going to have a heart attack seeing how red they got when the Union showed up.

Why is it that Andy Lessin gets away with calling employees communists that support the Union. Then Andy follows them around and cuts their job titles from them for just suporting the Union. He told an employee he couldn't work in the office anymore and be around the drivers because this pro Union employee might tip the drivers into wanting a Union too. Then Andy follows this employee around Fedex trying to fire him for every little thing intimidating this employee so much that he eventually quits for a better job. This kind of harrassment goes on at Fedex all the time and Andy Lessin at WHT is one of the key factors employees have and still wanted a Union. Andy Lessin has abused his position as SCM and now terrorizes pro Union employees into not wanting a Union while HR stands idly by and does nothing about it.

We'll have a case for age discrimination once the working the dock policy is implemented January 1st,2009.
We will have to document the,"Separated Employment" (Mike Moss's P/C for being fired)personnel-name ,age, position, reason for dismissal, etc.
Equally important, who is replacing them.If it is younger people that will trip the trigger for,"Disparte Treatment"-discrimination.
Document-Document-Document.
Hearsay will not work.
