The first thing you must do is to educate yourself and your fellow employees. Because FedEx will do everything legal in there power to stop any organizing efforts at your terminal. A well educated employee will see through FedEx's bullshit lies and promises. Which well help your campaigne be a success! Good luck!Use whatever is posted here to help you educate your employees.Rudy City driver at SBO
Is any of your jobs really that bad at fedex that you need a union in there. Most dock workers make more than most would on a job right out of collage and all drivers make.more than they would anywhere else. The team steps is a sinking ship that needs $$$$ to keep them afloat. Do your research into them before voting.
Take away the union and watch all wages drop to walmart wages. Take away the union and no american pay scale. if fedex is such a great company why do their pilots require a union and look at all large nonunion companys, corporate gets rich, employees get screwed, they are not going to give more if they don't have to, its called GREED. fEDEX pays what they do only because of UPS wages, thats true. Funny that even the united states post office is also union. Bottom line,if there was no GREED you would not need unions. Want to be a slave, vote out unions. sad but true
Its not about what your job is right now,its about what your job would be like if there were no unions, think ahead. all jobs would be minimum wage or lower for everyone
This is one of the most unsafe companies i have ever worked for. They talk a good game and fail at safety. They hire young men out of school.Make them your supervisor, with no experience. The purple promise is B.S. Vote YES its the american thing to do.Subcontracting all your work out to drivers who dont even speak the English Language.Vote YES.
