how much does yrc city drivers make?

Anonymous said...

WHO CARES WHAT THEY MAKE, WERE CONCERNED ABOUT US FEDEX AND OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS WHO ARE PAYING THE PRICE FOR NOT BEING IN THE UNION. WITH THE LOST BENEFITS AND SENIORITY THAT GIVES YOU NOTHING WE MAKE 15.00 AN HOUR IF THAT. COME JANUARY MORE PEOPLE COULD LOSE EVEN MORE. I HEARD A DRIVER SAY HE MAKES 21.10 AN HOUR, OK WITH 8.5 HOURS HE GETS WHAT 170.00 AND CHANGE A DAY WHILE THE SENIOR DRIVERS AT 23.00 AND HOUR THAT WORK 7 HOURS GET 161.00. AND NO BENEFITS FOR EITHER SO WHO WINS NO ONE.

i care , i heard they make like 19 dollars an hour , can anyone verify if it true?

Anonymous said...

why do you care how much they make, is this an amusing thing for you? or to mock them?. Let me tell you something buddy, people like you will end up with nothing. Remember this comment when karma gets you, nobody will extend their hand for you. You should be concern about preserving middle class americans and unionize this chicken shit corporation (Fedex) " MARIO"

Anonymous said...

well mario if you think its such a chicken shit corporation wtf are you doing working here, my concern is that if the union is voted in i will be making less than what im making right now and cant afford that asshole

Anonymous said...

if rumors are true fedex will continue to move folks around changing start times and routes and keeping people unhappy so us senior workers quit and when the ranks drop far enought all those yrc folks looking for work will have your/our job at 17.50 an hour. if yrc goes more fedex seniority will go as well, they need your posistion so they can pay less money to hungry workers. of course with a UNION CONTRACT they can't do this as easy. Its your decision we told you so and now it will be up to you to keep your job safe. Good Luck

Well anonymous your true colors come out, cause you can't handle the truth about you. You must be a manager or a Mr.dumbass, and I appreciate next time you call me names, you refer me as Mr.asshole. For staters you don't have a fucking clue about unions, cause when you vote for a union is to gain ahead not to go backwards Mr.dumbass. A union is to improve the working condition here at FedEx, Mr.dumbass you think stripping us dockworkers out of our benefits and making us into part time is fine? fuck no! bring the Teamsters in cause I am a proud Brotherhood of the Teamsters at U.P.S Parcel. That's right brother dumbass I'm a part time worker at U.P.S cause I can't survive at this chicken shit corparation who won't even provide fringe benefit for my family, and you know what dumbass if I could leave now I would in a heart beat. It won't be long before U.P.S hires me into full time or if Joe Nuno and Rudy Hernandez unionize Fedex I will stay. Mr.dumbass accept the union now, cause the Teamsters is already here!!! One last thing Mr.dumbass be a fucking man for once and not that fucking coward you are hiding behind the computer. Mr.asshole "MARIO"

dear mr asshole , please help me understand how it would be if we become union, i know im just a dumbass but when you are pletty equal to union companies and you want more how do you figure fedex will accept a contraact? and i would rather you call me estupid than dumbass, i dont knowmuch but i heard that even if we vote yes for the union it dosent mean fedex has to agree with what the union wants and then fedex can hire replacements for us, so please educate me mr asshole

if you work for fedex you have a right to be concerned brother, but avoiding the union is the wrong answer. fedx will keep hiring new workers for the dock as well as drivers so when they get to your seniority spot it will be lost like all the rest. you should be concerned because new employees are comming and they want your job and without a Union Contract your toast just like we are, no one cares what you did in the past for fedex and all the years you gave mean nothing anymore.

Hey Mario that's it, if this Gentleman doesn't understand the idea of unionizm let him attend a meeting and stop wasting your time and effort on him. Mr anonymous if you want to keep on spinning the wheel around with your questions, I suggest you go on www.ltlboards.com and ask Top Flight for your selective answers you want to hear. thank you!

Mr.stupid. I myself would think that fedex would give us a contract when we are represented by the Teamsters. The pilots of fedex have gone threw contract negoeations with the co. and are one of the highest payed!

When everyone stands up to the co. and says "yes" we want to organize. Then the proof of closing a terminal or hiring outside workers becomes the burden of the co.to prove they are not doing these things because of organizing going on.

So when you hear employees say the co. is going to do what they want. Its the employees who dont stand up who let this happen!

If you dont believe me do some homework yourself so when you comment on this blog you dont use talking points that the managers you are talking to on here.

thats why we need 8 yards in the la area to join at the same time and start their process the same day so fedx cant close all the la yards the same day while saying they are not needed. if we allow one yard to close they have the power and we dont want that. fedx will try to stop this movement anyway they can but they are the reason the union is being asked to help us, they screwed to many people and their familys are hurting too. shame on fedx but shame on us to if we allow them to continue to take benefits and money away from us. we should be making 28.50 an hour with benefits like ups, with 6 weeks vacation and 10 paid holidays. we have been shafted and its payback time, TEAMSTERS ALL THE WAY.

Joe Nuno said...

(JUST A REMINDER) If you form a union, you risk losing the benefits and pay raises you already have.
It is illegal for a company to freeze or cut previously scheduled raises to discourage you from forming a union. Once you’re organized, you’ll lock in current wages and benefits and then negotiate improvements from there. All of you will get an opportunity to review your proposed contract before you vote to approve it. Obviously, you’re not going to approve a contract that cuts your wages or benefits.

JOE, 28.50 SOUND GOOD TO ME. MY FAMILYS NEED BETTER HEALTH CARE. HOW COME THEY NOT RAISE US UP AN JUNE.

Joe Nuno said...

Why? just read the top post of this website, Corporate Greed...

The only way for us to make $ 28.50 an hour is to form a union here at fedex freight and grow a pair and stop crying and fight for what's right im ready to form a union now just like ups workers i want good benefits for my family even the part timers get full benefits and good pay im sick and tired to hear the managers telling me if you don't like it here we have 200 doors so you can leave at any time i said f...k no i spent too many years working hard for this campany and im going to fight back against fedex management by forming a union with the teamsters i want to have the same benefits that ups and others union company workers have just like ups 28.50 an hour 6 weeks vacations and 10 paid holliday i want to be part of the fedex pilots union member the teamsters i wonder why fedex management never told us that fedex corporation" THE FEDEX PILOTS" have contract with the teamsters that's another f...g lie now that we know the truth about fedex freight "WE MUST GO TEAMSTERS ALL THE WAY" see you at the next meeting nov 8th at the local teamster 952.
