We need employees from all terminals in So. Cal. to help represent and to organize your home terminals. It’s your future. Get involved my friends you got nothing to lose. We have already lost our seniority runs and our income by FedEx’s Corp. Greed. My body will be lucky to work as a shuttle driver/dockworker this year. It was good to see Tito and the union organizers Gary and Joe at ANAHEIM and IRVINE terminals. IVN driver.
Do you like having a (normal) 8 hour work day? Do you like having health care benefits? Do you like having paid time off? We may not be in a union, but if we enjoy any of this, we can thank union workers for it. Before unions fought for reasonable work hours, health care, and workplace safety, few Americans had any of this. Today wages at FedEx are diminishing, health care costs are skyrocketing, unethical business practices are prevailing, and the need for organized labor is as vital today as it was 60 years ago. NOW IS THE TIME TO ORGANIZE!Anaheim Driver
Though we may like our jobs for one reason or another, working for the benefit of the Corporation is a hollow existance. As a Union member your existance isn't so hollow as you have some say so as to your working condition, and all around relationship with the company. To FedEx's credit they will be attempting to make our existance less hollow this week by filling us up on Muffins, and Cream and whatever other goodies they have for us. Yum!! After all this food is digeste, remember to make it to the Teamster meeting at 952 in Orange at 9:30AM this Sunday November 8th. You will get something of better value to you and your families!

They need to replace all operations managers now because that bridge has been burned. Greg should not be allowed to push or shove another employee again here at FedEx, next they should look at the terminal managers who have lost contact with their employees by allowing these operation mgrs too much power from the get go. Chaug in Gardena comes to mind as well as others like Russ and John who don’t care about nothing but their own bottom line. Organize now and have a better chance of retirement by 62 or wait for fedex to give you all that change at 66 or 69 years old.
its to bad we allowed them fedx to screw people over like that taking benefits away from long time employees and making them part time while the rich get richer. we all should have walked out right then and there now we have one chance to keep what we have left of our pride and our jobs by becoming a union like ups freight has done. we have to support each other here and now because fedex will not stop this wave of destruction until we join together as one. The Teamsters were never needed until two years ago, now we need them to protect whats left of our jobs and benefits. come out Sunday and see what others think of this place as one of the 100 best companies to work for in America. what a bunch of garbage that is. more like Enron Corp. Rich people suck.
SOME OF US RECEIVED THE REITRMENT STATEMENT IN THE MAIL AND WOW WERE GOING TO RECIVE 550.00 TO 610.00 A MONTH FROM THE FROZEN PENSION THAT VIKING HAD. NOW I DONT KNOW ABOUT YOU BUT 600 A MONTH IS A SLAP IN THE FACE AFTER WHAT 20 YEARS PLUS HERE. THEY MAY HAVE SCREWED US BUT WE CAN SHOVE BACK WITH THE TEAMSTERS BEHIND US, THIS SUNDAY IS VERY IMPORTANT SO PLEASE BE THERE. THE WAGE INCREASE THAT WE NEVER GOT AND THE LOST 401K MATCH FOR THE YEAR IS REALLY ADDING STRESS FOR ALOT OF FOLKS.
