Letter To Thom Hartmann

Dear Thom Hartmann; I am falling into  a victim of the Constructive Termination at FedEx Freight Mira Loma. And the reason why, is because I am one of the head committee of my organizing groups in the Inland Empire of Southern California. I've been organizing FedEx Freight for sometime and I just recently transfer to a new FedEx facility in Mira Loma Ca. Well ever since I transfer in January I been harass by my operation manager Mark Link and his taz-manian devils dispatchers. Mark has his dispatchers creating paper trails, looking for ridiculous excuses to fired us involved in forming a union, and when I mean ridiculous it doesn't stick to you. The position Mark holds should be highly professional and ethical, but he doesn't, he allows his dispatchers to mistreat the drivers with verbal abuse, deceitful mentality and last threatening methods, sad. The reason Mark has such high animosity and hatred with unions is because he lost his last Job when organizing was taking place. I've talk to his Ex-employees and asked them why they were forming a union there, and there response was mistreatment of employees too..

MRL CITY DRIVER ON LIST said...

It was said by a dispatch clerk several weeks before the merger.

That the day several of you guys were passing out UNION flyers at the end of the driveway. That Bob Tillet stopped and asked for a flyer. Bob Tillet is the...THEN NEW TERMINAL MANAGER of SBR now MRL. He took a flyer from Joe Nuno and then went to his office and called over to Fontana Terminal to inquire about Joe Nuno.

Bob Tillet then went down to Mark Link's office and stood in the middle of the office and stated...who is this Union Guy passing out flyers at the end of the driveway...can he do that?

Mark Link then turned around in his chair and said out loud. "I have dealt with these unions guys before, I will take care of them. They do not scare me. So, do not worry about it BOB!"

A dispatch clerk and a operations manager confirmed this information several weeks before a number of the people transfered over to MRL from Fontana.

MRL's city operations under the guidance of Mark Link has always been ruled by Constructive Termination and racial bias. This has happened to a number of guys that are still working there and or have been terminated for things like, not locking the tractor door or not putting one number in front of a "0"1-13-2011 in a date on a signed bill. THESE GUYS WERE FIRED...LET GO! They even pass over people that are good for the company by way of not promoting them are allowing their transfer, in order to help the company.

Bob Tillet is sponsoring Mark Link and has backed this guy on all of his wrong, bad moves at MRL. From his lying, his wrong information to the drivers and his dictator style and arrogant attitude towards the city drivers. He has disrespected a number of people for a number of years...from yelling at them, to making decisions without getting the full details of the problem. We even had the best dispatcher a lady...named S.R., demote just to get out of his cross hairs. She was the BEST!

Take the time to just walk through the terminal and ask, HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT MARK LINK AND BOB TILLET! See what responses you get. I will bet you a million bucks...not one, not one...THEY ARE DOING A GOOD JOB! It is hard to even think that FedEx does not see this and would not seek to replace these two idiots. We all WOULD LOVE FOR THIS TO HAPPEN. We would take the devil himself over these boobs!

Be aware that Mark Link who is backed by Bob Tillet will use constructive termination against you at every turn and will write you up for insubordination for speaking out against their sedition.

EVERYONE IS SCARED OF THEM...PEOPLE IN OS AND D, BILLING, OTHER LEADER SHIP AND EVEN THE HR DEPARTMENT PEOPLE.

MRL city driver, you know who is going to be my best organizing team? Bob Tillet, Mark Link and his three Gustapo's dispatchers. They're all doing a good job!

If that is the case.

If you would even consider placing any of these people (MARK LINK, BOB TILLET, JUAN CONTRERAS, JOSH BOWERS OR JOSE...OR FOR THAT MATTER DANNY MARTINEZ); on any organizing team...even for the local special education school in any form or fashion...

Then the first thing they should organize is getting rid of you, as that would be just as lame as FEDEX still keeping each one of this arrogant asinine dopes in charge.

However, how about you 10-19! You are now off the clock...in five hours of work!

Instead of stating dumb things such as what you wrote to me...MRL CITY DRIVER ON LIST! How about you take the time to see and understand the unfairness that FEDEX has brought to all of us here at MRL. Even if you are in leadership and are being blinded by the fact that you are being used as a puppet by Mark or you are in fact the puppet master writting to me. Why not take a look at what FedEx can actually do in regard to fairness and in regard to raises and equality in the way we now live at home.

Read this and weep...now...we need this as workers in our division as well:

On Wednesday March 23, 2011, 4:35 pm EDT
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- FedEx and the Air Line Pilots Association say they approved a labor agreement that includes a 3 percent pay raise.

The association approved the agreement in balloting that ended early Wednesday.

The Commercial Appeal reported that the pilots also receive lump sum payments, new safety programs and expanded foreign duty assignment rules. The paper said that the agreement bypasses contentious matters like work rules and improved retirement benefits. It will run either one year or two at the association's option.

Capt. Scott Stratton, a spokesman for the pilots, told the paper that pilots achieved improvements in key areas and are positioned to resolve other issues in the near future.

FedEx Corp. spokesman Maury Lane said the agreement balances the interests of pilots, their families, FedEx customers, shareowners and other employees.

WHILE YOU ARE WRITING STUPID REMARKS TO ME THAT MAKE NO SENSE AND TAKING HOME $600 BUCKS A WEEK AND ABOUT 45 PERCENT IN PAY CUT SINCE THE FEDEX MERGER. THESE OTHER SMART FEDEX EMPLOYEES HAVE ORGANIZED AND HAVE A HUGE GAP IN RETIREMENT THAN WE CAN EVEN DREAM OF. NOW WAKE UP AND STOP WRITING STUPID STUFF AND GET INFORMED. DO NOT BE PLAYED BY THE PUPPET MASTER ANY LONGER, AND TREAT PEOPLE FAIR.
