Hundreds of UPS Freight Workers in Texas Sign Cards to Become Teamsters

(Washington, D.C.) – An overwhelming majority of about 720 workers at 10 UPS Freight (formerly Overnite Transportation) terminals in Texas have signed authorization cards to become Teamsters, bringing the total number of drivers and dockworkers seeking to join the union to more than 7,000 since January 16, Teamsters General President Jim Hoffa announced.

I have talked to UPS Freight drivers around Fontana and most of them have said that Ups Freight was a good company, as is Fdx. But they are a much better company now. With a great new pension,benefits and a grievance process to help an employee from management who have to much power to get away with whatever they want!
