today we came in to a HUGE banana cake and a celebratory atmosphere. The occasion: They official presentation of checks and awards for the drivers that are now recieving their safety trucks for driving 25 years without a accident. They had revisited incidents that had previously disqualified them from getting the award and corporate had over turned those decisions.
But the good vibes all came to an end before the day ended. We all showed our displeasure at the fake gesture of appreciation management was trying to convey.
Some made it clear we know why this has been done and it was a sorry attempt to win over guys and it got ugly between the VP and other regional managers is all i can say.
Its now clear to us that management is going to run a dirty campaign. The desperation is clear defeat is inevitable and they do not want us to get to our day.
Rest assured that we are still here and still united and loving every minute of watching the real cronies and thugs expose themselves and crumble.
NOTE the ride alongs have continued every day of this week

Don Brown gave his presentation and we all gave him the silent treatment IN EVERY MEETING! no questions where raised.
the only one that asked questions was our Terminal manager after apologizing to brown on our behalf for being a shy haha

had the guy from weekend at bernies Mike Ducker come in and give us all small round table discussions
we sat down and where encircled by about 20 different managers, HR reps, corporate pressed shirts, safety and lost prevention folks. Those people did not sit, they stood around us as we sat down.
Ducker gave us all a verbal 20 min. autobiography of his life and asked us if we had any questions. Nobody again spoke up or raised any issues. The setting was intense and we know it was done on purpose to make sure we did not disrespect their leader.
All that meeting has done is brought our co-workers down off the fence and shown them who the real thugs, and cronies are. They realize that we (their fellow co-workers) are always going to shake their hand and appreciate them and we should be standing together.
The message is clear fedex and their staff are all phony!!! they only care about one thing and that's a "No vote".
They have brought in management that we love and admire to sway us but we can read right through it. We know they have been told to be here and recite the corporate lines and bs.
to those managers (they know who they are) we hold no grudges. we know that those good managers are with us deep down inside
A good manager should have been a good employee first and if that is the case then know how much we all need to be fedex teamsters so we all really have a voice in our company
